Parade: Finished!

Ah, finally done. Taking a break to work on those other pieces really helped me come back to this one and wrap it up. In my defense, I have been working on this piece for maybe an hour or two at a time, intermittently. Glad to be done with it though, it would bug me so much if I never finished it.

Tune in next time for "Don't Cover Everything in Pattern, You Idiot!"

Thanks for looking!

Turned out beautifully! I'm glad you took the time to finish it up- it's obvious a lot of TLC went into this piece.

I always love how you push your foreground/background contrasts. The cool monochromatic foreground works great against all those lively colors.

Thanks a lot guys!

Anna - Thanks! Yeah with a jumbled scene like this, having really controlled ranges of value and color are super-important. I guess really I think that's important in every scenario, but THIS one especially!

Nice finish. If you ever throw a parade in real life, count on me crashing it.

Try saying seashell shingles three times fast.
