Sweet Tooth

One time I turned in a piece to a client with a strong hit of the color pink in it, and they asked me to change it because it wasn't appropriate for their audience. A very reasonable request, though with the unexpected side-effect of me wanting to use the color pink wherever I can in personal work now!

This is a revisit of an old idea. Who says I don't have a sense of humor?

This may be my favorite out of your work. I love the colors used and all the attention to textures. The subject matter and world-building have subtle action and life to them that I find unexpected from your normal genre. Great piece!

Tina - That's really flattering, I'm glad you dig it!

Haha, I so know this sentiment. When asked to do a certain style/color/etc but personally leaning towards another and now you have the "whatever the other thing is" stuck in your creative conscience. You can't get it out till you squeeze all of the inspiration out through personal exploration. Ugh, wonderfully frustrating :P

This piece is brilliant, btw. Nice use of elements to direct the eye, wonderful "wet" hotspots, and a masterful use of pink! It has found a home as my desktop background!

Do you sell your work? I would really live a copy of this to hang in my kitchen. If you don't have any copies for sale would you be willing to let me print a copy to hang?
